Tot Scavenger Hunt Wands

Scavenger Hunt Wands

Kids love using pointers. With young toddlers, however, it can be nerve-racking watching them swing around a stick (anyone else’s mind always jump to worse case scenarios?). That is why these mini pointers are great! They give your tot something to hold on to, but are nice and short.

Each stick is decorated to go along with the theme of the scavenger hunt. Example- a square shape themed scavenger hunt would have a “wand” decorated with squares.

Supplies needed:

1. Jumbo craft sticks

2. Glue

3. Markers/paint

4. Anything to decorate with (stickers, colored paper, etc.)

Depending on the age of your little one, you might have them decorate their own wand or you might do it for them.

Once the wand is complete have your tot go around and use it to point at the scavenger hunt items they find.

Happy hunting!
