Toddler Water Painting

Toddler Water Painting

There are two three things that I love about this activity. 1- All you need are things you probably already have at home right now. 2- You can reuse everything multiple times (Assuming the paper doesn’t get torn.) 3- There is very little to clean up.

Materials needed:

  1. Construction paper or cardboard
  2. A paintbrush
  3. A small container for water (I just used a large bottle cap)
  4. Water (not sure if that needed to be listed…)

Let your tot use the paintbrush and water to “paint” the paper/cardboard.

When they are done, if the paper is still intact, you can dry everything and reuse it!

I am a middle school teacher and a mother of two. I have always had a passion for education. As an educator, I know that the children who are the most successful students are those who have families who support their education at home.
