Simple 4th of July Craft for Toddlers

Simple Toddler 4th of July Craft

Here is a simple, and fairly quick, 4th of July craft you can do with your toddler.

Supplies: White construction paper, red construction paper, blue construction paper, a glue stick, and some silver foil star stickers

Step 1: Cut a few red strips of paper. Though the American flag has 13 stripes, this one clearly does not. That was deliberate simply for the sake of simplicity. At this age it really is more important for your tot to get familiar with the flag and not focus too much on the details.

Step 2: Cut out a blue rectangle.

Step 3: Have your toddler put silver star stickers on the blue square.

Step 4: Rub a bit of glue from the glue stick all over the paper. The idea here is to get enough glue down so that when your child puts down a red stripe it will stick.

Step 5: Have your tot apply the red stripes.

Step 6: Glue on the blue square.

Step 7: Hang it up 🙂

Happy 4th of July!
